Kali Key - Connection screw/nut specs?

I have a Kali Key where the screw/nut came loose and apart on a desert shoot and so I lost the nut/screw.

Kali-Key carries a lifetime warranty so they sent me a new one, but now I have this Kali-Key that only needs a screw/nut to make it whole again.

I'll point out that when I first contacted Kali Key I simply asked for the screw/nut specs as I'm fully capable of sourcing and repairing it myself, but instead they sent me a whole new Kali Key.

Anybody have any idea what the Nut/Screw specs are? I'm referring to the tapered allen screw and hex nut that holds the handle together.

This. I highly doubt they're using anything proprietary.

Most hardware stores have a display with nuts & threaded posts in metric and inch. I usually bring the "what's this size?" nut or screw with me and test.

Go to a well stocked hardware store. This will be a standard size, but my local HD or Lowes wouldn't have these small pieces.

If you know the size but have trouble finding it try boltdepot.com .

Take apart the one you have and measure what it is.

Basic outside diameter of common screw sizes:

              #4 0.112"
              #5 0.125"
              #6 0.138"
              #8 0.164"
              #10 0.190"

Once you have the basic screw size, there will only be a few different pitches used for that screw size.
You can count how many threads in 1/8" or 1/10" of and extrapolate what your thread pitch is.
