    MBUS on AR Pistol

Anyone running the MBUS set on their pistol set-up. I'm concerned about the extra heat from the 7.5 barrel.

    Thanks...

MBUS rear sight is fine on the AR pistol, it's the front sight that needs consideration. MBUS front sight should only be used on a rail system, not on the gas block. If mounted on gas block, the heat may melt the plastic on the front MBUS.

Rail mount only no gas blocks unless you want black fudge ontop of the gun

10-4. The front will be rail mounted on a DD LITE.

just my $.02l, but I find irons a royal pain to use on an AR pistol. Lack of cheek weld makes it tough. You're meant to have one to use aperture sights.

RDS is the way to go.
