    Windham Weaponry

Richard Dyke, founder and CEO of Windham Weaponry, has passed away. A sad day indeed, for the industry.

Ah, that is sad. My first AR was a Windham SRC, it's been a rock for nearing 8 years. RIP Mr. Dyke.

His actions to keep his employees working by starting Windham were the main reasons I made that brand specifically my first AR, it was definitely a feel good story by a noble guy who cared about his people.

89 is a good run, my goal with my family history is to make it to 85-88, I would be the first male in my family to make it past 80. All of the previous men in my family were smokers and didn't lead a very healthy lifestyle so I'm the test bed to see if a non-smoking, healthier lifestyle can allow us to make it past 80, or if the genes will overtake and kill us before 80. It's a cliffhanger!

Hope Mr. Dyke is enjoying his well earned reward, he cared about people and that's the main purpose we are all put here for.
