help with AR builds/need ideas

I have couple of AR lowers that i would like to start to build.

AR-9 / AR-15 and Ar10

I dont know what I should build. I want to do something different. I was thinking for the ar 15 300 black out with 10.5 barrel.

Lot's of variables here. Do you hunt? If so, maybe setup a 458 socom pig gun? Plinking gun, set up a badass 22lr, and on and on. Your options are endless, make it work for you, good luck.

If you live in california and are not exempt of the handgun roster and bought these lowers from an FFL in California, they are registered as long guns so you can only build rifles with them.
That would mean that you can not build with a 10.5" barrel unless you also perm attach something to get the barrel to be over 16".

If one of the lowers is a pistol lower, then you can build it with a 10.5" barrel as long as you do not install a stock or a buffer tube which could accept a stock.

If you live in a state where you can have short barrelled rifles, then you just need to do a form1 and pay the $200 tax to convert one of them into a short barrelled rifle and then you could build a 10.5" barrelled rifle with a stock.
California does not allow short barrelled rifles for regular citizens.
