    HK MSG90 stock - "telescoping"?

    Hi Calguns,
For the purposes of complying with the current CA AWB, would the H&K MSG90 stock considered a "telescoping" stock?

Yes, the length of pull and the cheek height are adjustable. However, you need to use a tool to do so. That big bolt in the center requires a metric allen key to actually adjust the LOP/cheekpiece.

My question is - could this stock be used on a featureless H&K G3-style rifle with functional mag release, assuming that the rifle had a bare muzzle and grip wrap/fin grip?

    Thanks,
    nic

$2K for a stock that needs a tool to adjust!? Oh wait it’s HK..

My psg1 stock has a built in tool….

And the whole rig was well under $2k.

            There's risk depending on implementation:
"The cheek piece and butt pad are adjustable on the fly.
They can be easily adjusted to fit you."

If it's adjustable manually (like one of the Magpul stocks) you have an issue.

If I wanted to use this stock on a featureless gun I would make changes with screw parts and washers/spacers so it's perfectly set up but any adjustment
is an act of disassembly and/or changing buttpads.

Makes sense, however the HK stock absolutely requires a tool to change the LOP. It cannot be done "by hand" with a lever or a button.
