It used to be a different way of adjusting, they look the same to me now. I was planning on buying the DCM but it was out of stock so instead I ordered the WW2 style. The way it works is you remove the stock plug, and thread in the new one. The way it is set the Garand becomes a single shot. You carefully close the port via a set screw inside the plug, IIRC it is about 1/4 a turn until the rifle cycles. When it is tuned, you install a second set screw on top of the one that has been adjusted to insure no movement. Loctite would probably be a good idea for the second set screw. I recently tried it at Angeles Range and it worked very good, the plug still needs minor tweaking because I think it was still short-stroking, I just need to turn the set screw to give the actions more gas and it should work perfectly. I am sure 1/4 to 1/2 a turn should do it.

It is very easy to use, as painless as it can be. I'd definetly recommend it.
