    Timney Trigger question?

Does anybody who has experience with this trigger know what pin size I would need for my AR? I did a search, but was unable to find the answers I was looking for....

Do I need the small pin .154 or large pin .170? I have a Kaiser Defense OLL and DPMS LPK if that helps at all.

Also, from what I did come across searching for answers, some members recommended the KNS anti roll pins. Are the .154 pins the correct size or the oversized .1555?... I'm guessing .154 for both the trigger and pins but, I just wanted to check with you guys to be certain.

Thanks in advance for any help with this issue!

you need the small pin Timney and you DO NOT need those anti roll pins

your Timney TG has set screws that will prevent your pins from moving

ding ding ding!!! we have a winner

My Timney's set screws did come loose once and the pin walked all the way out. Just make sure they are tight and throw a dab of lock tight and you are good to go.

My Skeleton Timney breaks like glass at 1.5lbs. It works great and makes long range precision shooting easy.

Timney pins walking out is a common issue. KNS pins can keep it from happening. IMHO, they're cheap insurance.

1.5lbs? What did you do to yours? That's light... scary light for an AR.

I've got a Timney on my AR-10, I've never had a problem with the pins walking while firing .308.

I think it's possible that people who have had pins walk out on them didn't install the keeper set screws on top of the primaries.

I also used blue loctite as an extra measure of security.

Mine was a special run/ large order from the factory.

Its not scary light, you just have to only put your finger on the trigger when you are ready to shoot.
