    Streamlight on AR-15

I ordered a Streamlight TL-3 along with a Daniel Defense Rail for my AR-15 and it seems to work great. I also ordered one of the remote switches from Streamlight. I hooked it up to my flashlight and the switch itself works great.

The problem is that I have all these extra pieces for my remote switch and I'm not sure what they are used for. I have some plastic pieces that I assume will mount the remote switch to the rail. I also have a couple of screws and tie downs. There is also some adhesive as well.

The remote switch didn't come with any instructions so I'm not sure how that all works.

Can anyone advise me on what the different pieces are used for?

By plastic pieces, do you mean the keys to fit the weaponlight to different platforms such as http://www.streamlight.com/product/extra/TLR-3_KEYS.htm ?

Here's a more complete list of what I have:

        - TL-3 Flashlight
        - Remote switch. The end cap on the remote switch plugs into the end of the flashlight.
        - 2 screws
        - 4 plastic ties
        - 1 double sided adhesive
        - 2 plastic pieces which mount the adapter to a rail (I think)

I just don't know what the ties, screws, and adhesive are for.

Adhesive for the pressure switch? When I was running a Pentagon X3, it came with a pressure switch which I use double-sided adhesive to stick on a VFG.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

In this you can see the uses for the screws, the adhesive (under the tape switch) and the zip tie to control the cord.
