Mil spec trigger for PCC

Anyone know if a mil spec trigger will last/work in an AR45? Or should I just get a PCC trigger? I have a few mil specs laying around but don't want to ruin them. Thanks

Not sure in an AR45, but in my SMG45, there is a disconnector bridge to protect it and in less than 100 rounds there is a distinct mark on the bridge from the hammer hitting it. I figure in a non-delayed blowback 45 PCC, the hammer has got to be moving even faster.

I'd suggest you just run the milspec trigger and see what happens. They're cheap and are one of the first parts that gets upgraded, so they're everywhere.

I had a drop in trigger in my AR9 that went binary within a few rounds. I replaced it with an RA PCC trigger that has been functioning great so far. I'll try a milspec trigger. Guess the worst that could happen is ruining the trigger.

What happens with a standard trigger is the "horn" on the back of the hammer flies down and whacks the disconnector, because the bolt velocity is so high.

There are cassette type triggers that don't have the horn. Like the Elftmann AR9 that's made specifically for... guess. There are also triggers that have the disconnector under the trigger like the SLT triggers from KE Arms.

Also the Hyperfire triggers that have the weird linkage where the bolt won't shove the hammer into the disconnector.
