Ammo Capacity Question / Lever Action

I searched but I could not find:

What is the maximum capacity of rounds allowable in CA for lever action rifles?
Are they limited to ten rounds as are the magazines, or are they exempt because they are not semi-auto.

    Thanks.
    I did search first.

No limit for tubular magazine lever-actions.
10 round limit on detachable magazine lever-actions.

    Penal Code 12020
(c)(25) As used in this section, "large-capacity magazine" means any ammunition feeding device with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds, but shall not be construed to include any of the following:
    (A) A feeding device that has been permanently altered so that it cannot accommodate more than 10 rounds.
    (B) A .22 caliber tube ammunition feeding device.
    (C) A tubular magazine that is contained in a lever-action firearm.

It depends more if the rifle has a magazine feed or tube feed. My lever action has a tube feed .22, it can fit 15 rounds .22 and 21 .22 shorts. I'm assuming 10 is maximum capacity for a lever action with a magazine, doubt they care if its not a semi-auto.

          Thanks.
          I'm looking at a 12 + 1 ( I think it was) 45 Colt Rossi on GunBroker.
Didn't want to bid and then find out it's not allowed out here.

Anyone know if the 45 Colt ammo is an impossible round to find these days? More scarce that .357?

.45 colt is a very common round in my part.

This Rossi 92 I'm eyeballing has a 24" barrel. Any pros or cons to that?
I want to deer and pig hunt with this rifle.

it will be heavy and a bit unbalanced at that length.

20" or 16" would be better then I'm assuming.

ive often imagined rigging up some plastic tubing a litte piston and an air compressor maybe 10 feet of tubing

i am worried about pump action though with minishells you can fit quite a few in an 8 shot shotgun

And some sort of a hand crank with cam action to work the lever for non-stop high rate of tube fed fire from a lever action rifle.
