OP, where are you located at? I have an extra Galil stock, we can try to cannibalize to see if the parts fit.

Oh well...my offer stand...my hunch is that Apex is wrong and the pin parts are the same.

The pin parts are the same. All I had to do was trim the base of the OG Galil stock so that it would fold flat as it interfered with the rear corner of the receiver (in a 5.56, YMMV with other calibers).

I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Anyone know if a common e-clip from the hardware store would work?

              I have the clips.
They are metric and most hardware stores will not have the thick ones but may have some thinner ones.

Thanks, Randall. When you move to Carson City I’ll drop by the shop!

You were right! The parts from Apex were a match. Thank you so much for your help!

                      Glad it worked out!

As stated above, you can replace the parts now and use a fat zip tie (or 2 smaller ones) at the bottom gap to prevent the stock from being pushed down. In the event the law changes...just snip the zip tie off and you are ready to fold the stock.
