I like this rifle. Just me but I wouldn’t want a 16” .308, do you know if it comes in 18 or 20?
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

The M&P 10 comes in an 18" I believe. The 16" Starts at $1100 MSRP IIRC.

Just call it an "AR". Or if you're feeling wordy, call it an "AR rifle". Or okay, "AR platform" if you want to sound all tactikool. But don't call it both things. I mean, if you're going to call it an "AR platform rifle" you might as well go all out and call it an:

AR weapon system rifle platform (or something super-tactikool like that)

Not only is "AR rifle platform" redundant, it's repetitive. And repetitious too. Some would even say recurring and reiterative.

So, what do I call my "AR platform" pistols?

trying really hard... not... to reply...

What is the "price point price" of these AR platform weapon systems?

(we used to just say "price", and everybody knew what we were talking about. Then some genius marketing ****-head decided "price point" was more kool than "price" and so everybody started saying "price point"... So all the kool kids now say "price point" instead of the much simpler word "price".

I propose we take it to the next level. Every time we talk about the "price" of something (the actual cost), we need use 3 words instead of 1 word. We say: "price point price" instead.

That is ****ing taking it to the next level!

Never use 1 simple word when 3 obfuscatory words will do!

I always get confused by "street price". That should be the price Shady Jay sells a Block with one loaded clip down in Florin by the alley behind the Bodega.

Everyone thinks it means a local gun shop or Sportsman's sale price. Street price should be on the mean streets.

lol - totally agree! There are like 3 prices from highest to lowest.

                  1. MSRP - Manufacturer's suggested price that nobody every pays
                  2. Retail Price - The "normal " price from a normal store
                  3. Street Price - Used/Not-taxed or something you might buy from a friend or random person in the street/online.
