I know the skill of the shooter is going to be the most important thing. But what do you think the true useful range of a 6X scope is for hunting?

600yrds i would guess i say 1x per 100 yrds. what kind of game? If squirels then i wouldnt say 600yrds but like an elephant then sure hahah.mmmmm Racing trucks and shooting guns!! -
I can hit 400 yd steel all day at 4x...
What are you hunting?
A goldfinch hunting scope would probably need more magnification than a barn hunting scope...Comment
