.223 wylde and cmmg .22 conversion kit.

Anybody shoot a milspec .223wylde setup and a .22 BCG conversion kit?
I know it says they don't guarantee it too work correctly with a wylde, but I gotta ask for people who only got this upper.

UPDATE, bought the cmmg in the end and I love not spending 80c a bullet. Works GREAT

I read a couple older threads about using conversion kits and using copper splashed slugs would give consistent results. But nthats for non wylde uppers.

There's no such thing as a mil-spec .223 Wylde. The Army doesn't use .223 Wylde.

Not that I've observed. CCI mini mags, Federal auto match, Aguila, even Remington thunder crap, all works. It has both the original Ceiner magazine and Black Dog magazine.

I got the Ceiner kit I use with my Rock River NM A2 1:8 Wylde and it is shockingly accurate at 25 yards. The most accurate rifle I’ve ever fired in fact. Don’t care for the Ceiner magazine that much though. The Black Dog works better.

Saw the Ceiner website, will resorch the Black dog.
Gunbroker has a complete upper by KMTAC side charger. If the price is real close between the two options,not sure what todo.

My Ceiner kit works great and has given years of reliable service. My Wylde chambered AR clone coyote rifle runs fine with the kit.
