maybe a stupid question, maybe not? If i have a complete ar-15 lower with stock, can i switch back and forth between 2 different uppers on it? Lets say i have a 16 inch upper i use for plinking, then i take that off and put a 20" upper oon it with a scope for hunting. Will there be any issues if each upper has its own BCG? What problems might i run into?

I don't see why not. Yeah it's a good idea to pair each upper with its own BCG.

Yes, as long as the upper has its own paired Bolt. You can get by with using the same carrier in all your uppers, but switching them out every time you want to shoot a different upper can be a pain. But use the same cam pin that came from the carrier as that has been broken into the carrier. Not a big issue but will run smoother.

Swapping bolts can cause headspace issues, and can cause overpressure and explosions. If you do swap bolts or buy a used bolt, get it headspaced.
