There are the Rockies, the Sierras, the Cascades, the open plains of the midwest, heard the southwest as some open spaces and even the Appalachians could prove challenging. Then there is the northwest, west...great for distance.

What country that has nukes would if faced with defeat wouldn't use them? None. If there was little risk of a nuke war with Russia we'd already be in Ukraine. We made public statements why we didn't go in - it was the risk of a nuke war and no new rifle or wonder bullet would make any difference.

There are no countries willing to go to war against us in a conventional manner, the nuke powers would use them and the rest have already figured out that they can drain us dry slowly to the point the public won't tolerate it.

This is some shiny new thing. Would this new rifle and ammo have made any difference in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan? Not one bit. We'd still have bugged out of Afghanistan. We're on the verge of remote controlled everything and past occupying another country because so far it's never worked unless we paid dearly for it and then depleted our own economic futures rebuilding crap we destroyed and watched how instead of exponentially growing our own country and paying attention to our own society we saw how it become divided, many of our major cities not much better than third world ghettos and a bankrupt future. But hey, we have a new rifle and new ammo.
