M93B HELP!!!

I recently obtained a used M93B, stock only no other hardware. The original owner does not have the parts and said he just screwed it on.

I want to install this properly and have no experience with it at all. I know this stock is rare so here it goes...

1. Where can I get OEM basic hardware to install this?

2. I know that there is an instruction manual floating around, anyone have a copy or provide assistance with the install?

You're going to need the claw lock and buffer shims if you wanna install that rock solid (look on page 4.) I have a couple and each time I installed one on a OLL, there would be a gap between the lock and rear of the OLL, hence the need for those shims. If not, you're going to experience some play.

I suggest looking over the parts list on the manual and compare what you have and don't have. Give Magpul a call and talk to tech support. That's what I did with one of the UBR's that I received. It was missing a few parts. With no hassel, they asked what I needed and my shipping address and it was right there at my door in no time. Moreover, they included a few decals and posters along with the parts. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Try giving them a call at 1.877.4MAGPUL or 303.828.3460.

If all else fails, if you paid primo bucks for your set up and the seller didn't disclose the missing part prior to purchase, I say you get back to that MF and give the seller some grief! My $.02.

Definitely agree with the gap. I just received one in trade with all the shims and claw lock. Just takes some sizing of several shims to fit. Good Luck.

Might be tough to find just the mounting pieces. Like others have said, you can try calling Magpul. I've heards they still have shims, don't know about the other parts.

However, the shims are the least important parts of the mounting hardware. You really need the two claw locks, the spacer for the claw lock, and the screws. Without those, the stock is useless. It cannot mount just by screwing it on. Good luck.

Just contacted Magpul about extra parts for the 93b, they have shims, sling mount, and rubber butt pad. NO LOCKS......
