    Juggernaut Hellfighter Button Not Working

So today I finally had some time to install the Juggernaut Hellfighter along with the ARMaglock on my ar15. The AR Maglock went on fine, and the Hellfighter installation wasn't too bad. However I am running into the problem where pressing the hell fighter button does not separate the receivers at all, let alone enough for the ArMaglock to clear.

The spring and detent seem to be in place since I can still pull the hell fighter pin all the way out as far as it goes and separate the receivers completely, it's just the button that doesn't separate the receivers at all.

Has anyone run into this problem before or have any ideas on what this could be? Been racking my brain for the past few hours.

Thanks for your response. I think the problem is that it is an extremely tight fit between my upper and lower. So much so, that I would physically have to pull the barrel down to seperate the recievers when I had the standard rear takedown pin pulled out. I am thinking that the hellfighter is working normally, and it is just my recievers being stuck together.

Seems like a pretty ****ty problem, any ideas to solutions on this?

My very limited experience with HF is that they take a bit of fine tuning to get dialed in.

Tinker with it a bit, you should be able to find the magic combo eventually.

I have a few AR's with this build. I've had to file the mag release part that slides in between the upper & lower thinner on a few. I think I have a post about it. You can probably find it if you search for ar maglock gen 4.

Be careful you don't over do it though.

And I like the kingpin better.

Yes, before the HF pin was installed the upper should have pivoted/fallen down easily just from gravity. If the front pivot pin is OK, then you could take a file to the gap and solve the tight fit between the upper and lower very quickly and easily.
