    Marlin XL-7 Wood Stock??????????????

I had asked this question before with no responces. I bought a Marlin XL-7 .270 that came with a synthetic stock. i cannot find wood stocks for these for sale ANYWHERE! I am starting to think that they do not make them. Anyone seen these?

I have the synthetic stocked .270 also. I've been waiting for someone to start making them too. Marlin has expanded the line this year to include wood stock models and three new short-action calibers. Unfortunately they still don't sell the stocks separately. I just got an '09 catalog and the laminated stock looks pretty nice.

Based on the success of the rifle, my guess is that it's only a matter of time before someone jumps in and starts making aftermarket parts if we can't get them from Marlin.
