No. A Bushmaster XM-15 is a listed AW by name in CA. Putting a bullet button or any other kind of magazine lock on it will not make it any less illegal than it already is. If you currently don't have one right now that is registered as an Assault Weapon with CA DOJ, then you can never own one in CA legally (for now until when/if the laws ever get changed).
