So whatever happened to your FAB10's & Vulcans?

Back in like 06/07, I bought 2 Vulcan fixed mag lowers which had a pinned 10 round mag. At least those you could remove the pin, glue and the neutered mag and convert to featureless. I suppose you could mill out the FAB 10's magwell and do the same. I am curious for informational knowledge, if you had one, what did you do with yours? Please don't replace the B with a G

I still have mine. Use it when I go to the range as I keep my ARs broken down as I shoot rifles when out of state.

You left out the Bushmaster Calif carbon15 sealed mag lower.

Use the fab-10 for my 50dtc upper.
Actually got it in the 2012 panic on consignment. No one wanted it because bullet buttons were all the rage.

Forever legislative future proof. Never selling.

Right, never actually handled one in person. Wonder if they sold enough to turn a profit.

Same as my FAB-10, I filled the magwell with lead and it sports a Ferret .338 LM single shot upper.

The Vulcan's permanent mag has not been permanent for a long time now.

LOL, same! Lead filled magwell with a ferret! Used pulled 8mm Mauser bullets and epoxy to form a removable magwell weight.

There was also a DPMS Panther single shot lower that was popular for .50 cal uppers. I thought about registering one of my Fab 10s as a .50 cal, but the ammo was too expensive for me back when it was $1.50 a round!

I have a couple of still-built Fab 10s - one without bolt catch, one with, both with manufacturing defects. I quit shooting them after a double feed jam that took a while to clear.

One's built with an A2 stock and is currently wearing an Armalite AR15A4 upper. I recently picked up an A4 marked lower, and will be swapping the stock out for a fixed mag retro build.

I should put my a2 stock on my fab 10.

The vulcan lower is sitting around somewhere. Had the epoxied mag release cleaned out, and the pin removed. Took awhile to clean out every bit of epoxy otherwise the magazine release would not drop quickly.

This was the aluminum Vulcan, where the quality is no better or worse than low tier lowers. However, from what I hear the polymer Vulcans were complete garbage. That I would not touch.

After I cleaned off the epoxy on my vulcans I never had any problems what so ever. And the ones I did was because of gas issues from used uppers/gas blocks. If you look in the magwell you see where the roll pin had held the mag in place but a little marksalot and voila I barely notice.

Anyone still have a FAB-10 with the CMS Engine Service rollmark?

Mine has a very good finish on par with most decent forged lowers, but I don't care for the Vulcan logo, but then again I don't care for the Stag Arms logo either.
