featureless is better than fixed mag?

The faster mag change part is the myth that needs to die. It's just flatly untrue in 2021.





The guy making these videos cheats by using the BAD Lever... but even without, you can see how surprisingly normal and fast it is to change mags with one of these ARMaglocks installed.

Can anyone point out where in these videos the ARMaglock is so egregiously slow and cumbersome?

Probably be different with a new guy. I bet that guy practiced and practiced for his video. have to think of a new guy same as Glock guys that might not know how to take a pistol off safe. Now they'll have to remember to push this button that way then the other button the other way, then close the the gizmo back up before firing.

Featureless. I can go from featureless to OEM in 5 minutes and back again. Not that I ever would but I could if you get my drift.

Anecdata, but after installing mine I was surprised with how naturally your thumb pushed the pin while also pushing the mag release. It's a fantastic, well thought out design.

It took maybe 15 minutes to get comfortable with it, after bemoaning all this junk we gotta do to satisfy california.

To be pedantic, the pin is separate from the maglock (designed by someone else other than ARMaglock from my understanding). You can mix and match with whatever pin you prefer - the kingpin just happens to be the "blessed" combination.

Have an open and honest discussion about the pro's and con's, and realize no brand new AR15 owner in 2021 owns Freedom Week Mags - so quit your bragging because it doesn't apply to the conversation for anyone considering either option.

Lets talk "featureless" for a minute.

I'm shooting my Fight Light SCR tomorrow at our local 3 gun event.



Last month I shot my Kel-Tec SU16 and the month before that was my Mini14 month before that was Ruger PCC.40. I have an AR but it doesn't get shot much simply because I have never really liked it that much.

Most all the guys shooting tomorrow will be shooting AR's and it never ceases to amaze them what other guns are out there. WE shoot with Cops as well and none Give a Ship about Stupid Features. Everybody is just there to have fun.

It will probably be sparse tomorrow being Easter Sunday and all but some will still show up, and the less that show up means more runs for those who do.
