What difference do you see between the APF and your other lowers? I had a PSA lower and the bolt catch wouldn't fit into the slot. I looked closely and the slot for the catch release had a little ridge where it was milled inside. I filed it down and it works perfectly now. Is yours too tight for the catch to fit inside the slot?
Edit: I'd recommend not filing your lower without contacting APF because filing will probably void the warranty. It kinda seems like milled for a certain bolt catch. Not sure if this is what they would call proprietary or something. Im going to contact apf about, Im just not sure if its because Im not experienced enought or theres something to learn from apf lowers.

It makes sense, so the catch won't fit in at all? I checked APF's website and while I did not look at every single lower they sell, the ones I saw said they were mil spec.
Have you built a lower before? The catch should at least fit in the slot. Maybe they do have a proprietary slot, but I would be surprised if that was the case.Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty.

It looks like a set screw type bolt catch and not a roll pin type, right?

If you look at APF's website photos,they are identical to the OP's.... well, no they aren't.
