Closed bolt meaning the BCG is not locked back. Most 10/30 mags are blocked and do not provide 'give' to allow for the mag to seat into a closed bolt when loaded to 10 rounds due to compliance. Even 30rd mags will not easily seat on a closed bolt when fully loaded.

What the vendor is most afraid of is someone being able to load 11 rounds into it so the make them deliberately tight.

10/30s are a hit or miss if they are not polymer. Some of the steel surplus do not really work or are picky.

Get some hexmags. Not the best but designed so you can drop the floor plate of you ever get a malfunction. They're not epoxied or anything. Otherwise run 10 round magpuls.

I use 10-20 Magpuls and never had an issue, extra length of the 30’s don’t give me anything additional than the 20’s ......handling
