OLL Vendors at OC Gun Show 6/6-6/7

I was smart this time and bought my tickets online so I only have to stand in one of two long lines

My question: which vendors will be there selling OLLs and what can expect to pay for a middle-of-the-road stripped receiver?

I want to buy from a local vendor to avoid the fees and hassles of doing a FFL to FFL transfer. Ten days after purchase and I have a way to spend my summer.....after I finish unpacking and organizing the condo I closed escrow on a month ago lol.

Any recommended brands/model numbers? Will prices at the show be lower/the same/or higher than those in shops during regular business hours?

Thank you for any and all advice.

Why stand in line at all when you can just go to Rifle Gear? Prices will be about the same. You still have to wait ten days before you can pick up the lower and then you need to drive to the shop that you bought it from.

what he said makes some sense. lowers are currently in stock most places locally, and the prices there will be the same as at the show. Additionally, you will need to come to whichever store you bought from to receive your receiver.

having said that, and considering that you already have your ticket. buy your lower now, and come to the show anyway. they are a lot of fun when you are not scrambling around trying to secure a deal...

        +1 on Riflegear.

They have 4 or 5 different brands of lowers in stock right now. I'd go buy your lower there, they are only 5 mins from the Costa Mesa fairgrounds.

The gun show is fun especially if youre looking for beef jerky or Nazi paraphernalia.

I have never been to one of these things but am planning on going this weekend. What are they like? Why would one have to wait in a line?

OC Armory will be there. They have a retail location in Laguna Hills and they're open till 9:00pm, or some silly late hour so picking up your lower isn't a hassle.

Thanks for the info guys. I guess I'll visit their booth and maybe buy it then and there. Would you recommend for or against buying the lower parts kit, stock, upper assembly, etc. prior to receiving the OLL?

                  Thanks.
