    Coupling legality

So I run a Redi-mag and a prince 50 on one my rifles because I travel out of CA at least once a month and was wondering about a legality issue.

    *****WHAT IF******

I have 2 pmags rebuild kits and used the "firebird" coupler and made them into 10/30's. Would I be guilty of manufacturing a "High-cap" mag? Each magazine holds 10 however since they are both epoxied to the "firebird" coupler would that make them 20 rounders?

I figured all in all my rifle is legal because the FIXED mag hold 10 however leaving another 10 rounder in my redi-mag has caught a few eyes here and there..."Why run a redi-mag if your mag is fixed? You cant legally back out the screw to utilize the second mag because your rifle would then be an assault weapon!"

Now, coupling the 2 mags together would be strictly for looks on the rifle as neither would be removable because it is a fixed mag in the magwell and permanently coupled to another in the redimag....

So ultimately would that be legal? Arguable? because a side saddle is not a part of the action of a shot gun so it would be legal right? I answered my own question....???

    But

2 10/30 pmags coupled together permanently would be "high-cap" or not?
