Well there goes the neighborhood. So here's a video of KAC fd up. Who's next Aero, BCM?

check it out. Very interesting. Every hole very close to out is spec.

Well looks like everyone should buy Anderson and palmetto.

Yep Blem. Should work well for him. Might have to pull some mags out but not so bad.

Yep, do your own QC... even if you think the QC has been done well.

You don't need all the gauges, but common sense and testing helps. Like that mag gauge... you will know when your various mags do not fit in the well - that's common sense. Pins from your spec lower that fit every other various upper do not push into your new tier whatever without a hammer? Out of spec. ANYONE can send out a lemon, have a bad day, or hire an incompetent... even your beloved BCM or whoever.

drawing the conclusion that Anderson or Palmetto are now better is a stretch. Since we know this one's a blem that is a bad data point. Anybody know how much oversized the holes are cut to account for the anodize added later? A bad anodize might cause some of that slop. I've only encountered trigger pin holes that were undersized, which would seem more likely for coating issues.

Shipping out of spec receivers as cosmetic blems is a QC fail by itself. There is no proof that their normal receivers never have issues like these.

There are plenty of non-snobs in the community that know PSA puts out more receivers than most anyone... and that means they know how to do a spec receiver. MILSPEC is not exactly boutique unless you have romantic feelings about MIL AND LEO.

The tendency to defend and ignore mistakes and sloppy machining if it is a boutique or top tier brand is hilarious.
