Retro AR with carry handle 4x scope – shot better than I expected

After the 4x21 I had one of these with an original Holosite and that worked too... eventually I swapped the upper with a flat top... still have the rest. My mount was a PRI too. The natural evolution is to a flat top for sure. Of course NOW I wish I would have left my XM15 upper original, but who knew I'd have more than one AR.

That looks like the Hakko Illuminated 4x21 AR scope. Long out of production AFAIK. Here they are today:

I have one. It's a 4x with a nice BDC dial on top, calibrated for 55gr 5.5.6, Five clicks out to 500 meters. CMO offered several different types, different configs, plain and illuminated. I think I still have a brochure of theirs somewhere.
I ended up taking off the useless (to me) carry-handle mount and putting the scope in 34mm QD mounts. Ran it this way for a couple of years before getting into much better optics.
BTW, this thing's built like a tank. It weighs a pound without the mounting hardware.
