Muzzle Brake for featureless SCAR 16s

I am converting my fixed mag SCAR 16 to featureless . I was able to find the grip wrap but I am not sure which CA compliant muzzle brake I need to use to replace the OEM one . Which one do you guys use for your featureless SCAR 16? Thanks !

I switched mine out for a linear comp: https://www.kawvalleyprecision.com/K...linear-blk.htm

The stock FSC556 brake/flash hider on the SCAR 16s has way too much side blast. The concussion actually killed a moth that was flying 8" to the side of my muzzle.

I have this on a couple of rifles. Love em.

This is what you would have found, in seconds, if you Google topic of "California compliant muzzle brakes": https://medium.com/@sparrowdynamics/...l-94901d038ddb

Read that, then find a brake tickles your fancy and ticks all boxes for legal requirement. The SCAR16 has the same muzzle thread as 5.56 ARs: 1/2 x 28.

I've been using the VG6 Gamma on everything. It performs well, its not expensive and it looks cool.
Shop rifle parts (2,688) at Brownells, including barrels, stocks, triggers, and bolt carriers to customize, repair, or upgrade your rifle’s performance.

Shop the VG6 Gamma 556 and find other VG6 Precision Muzzle Brakes!

Its a brake, not a flash hider, and the package says nothing about flash. I'm here to tell you that it certainly does not reduce flash. If anything, it increases flash. Worse than a thread protector, but it does a great job of compensation.

sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.
