a new malfunction / Jam on the AR- Front sight/ Gun Sight / Thunder ranch

Jerry shows a malfunction that I have never seen on an AR...not a type 1,2 nor 3

Easy to fix when you understand what happened and how to fix it

Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
    (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

I appreciate Jerry. Good to see him

Same thing for Jeff Cooper when he was alive.

        Be well
        Bob.

Helped a guy whose rifle did that. Last round in his mag would jump out and end up above the bolt. I had never seen that failure before that.

I've seen it happen once. Easy enough to clear, but fairly rare.

Piece of crap AR design. That's why I didn't get one until the 1994 crime bill. Until then I had an AR-180 and a Daewoo.
