Do any companies sell a "battle worn" complete AR 9?

I have been toying with the idea of building or customizing a 9mm AR. I've seen photos of some ARs that are cerakoted with distressed bronze and a few with some wooden furniture. I like the "battle worn" or "post-apocalyptic" look that I've seen on a few of them. I started to get excited about building my own 9mm AR with wood furniture and custom cerakote, until I realized my build was going to cost at least $2,000! Anyway, I wonder if any companies are selling something like this that's good to go and under $1000? Silly, I know, but this would be a fun gun moreso than a practical gun. Anyone know of anything like this? Thanks for any information!

Go buy a cheap AR and drag it on a dirt road for ten miles, think of the $$ you'll save.

Buy anything and send it to a cerakote place.

Battle worn paint jobs are soooo easy to do. The plastic model guys building tanks and dioramas are the best at it.

Either that, or take it out and actually USE it.

Rattle-can it in the color of your choice with cheap spray paint without any metal prep, then use it. Don't baby it.

Use it and don’t baby it, eventually you’ll get your desired results

This guy can give your AR a pretty worn look:

That's the exact thread that the OP brought to my mind! Great stuff in that thread!

I can’t stand “battle worn” as most have said buy the gun and run it like the tool it is and it will become worn.

                    It's a little silly because 9mm AR's aren't used in battle.

Store bought battle-worn finish is for posers.

I’ll help out OP. Send me a rifle with a few cases of 9mm and I’ll gladly put a “battleworn” finish on it. Free of charge
