Drop in carbine extended handguard
Centurion Arms has what you need.
Centurion Arms' patented C4 rail system is a lightweight, rugged, two piece, free float hand guard to mount accessories with a simple, easily installed rail.
Edit: You will need to ditch the delta ring and HG retainer. Easy to do and well worth it IMHO. The hand guard attaches to a standard barrel nut.
Crappy close up cell phone pic of my 14.5 middy w/C4 cutout HG.

Maybe I should have included a budget. It is going on a 20 year old old A3 bushmaster upper, so I was hoping to stay under $100.
Not sure about how to remove the Delta Ring, I will have to look into that. I was hoping not to mess with the FSP at all.Comment

I'd rather have the Magpul handguard which is cheaper and readily available than that vism one.
But that's all personal preference (I have 2 magpul sl handguards and they've served me well).LAPD CCW Timeline:

Is it a range-toy or a HD setup?
If it's a range-toy, get whatever you can afford... if you're going to bet your life on it, spend the money for better parts.
