    Aero M4E1 Stripped Lower

    Forgive the newbie question.

Anyone know if you actually need to get the M4E1 ambi lower instead of the basic M4E1 to run ambi saftey and ambi bolt release? Or is it more for the bolt release and you can run ambi saftey? Thanks.

No forgiveness needed... we've all been there, whether we admit it or not!

Looking at the Aero website, you'll see that the ambi version is machined for and comes with a PDQ ambi bolt stop but you have to purchase an ambi safety on your own. If you buy the basic version, you'll still be able to run an ambi safety but will have to either be willing to cut into your new lower to mount the PDQ ambi bolt stop or run some other type of bolt stop lever (e.g., BAD lever, etc.).

I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Thanks, that's what I thought just needed confirmation.
