Ignore found where it goes. Hand guard spacersent from the depths of my subconscious -
Metric gun? I just saw a "G" series on sale at my favorite local shop yesterday. If I had a spare $8k laying around, I'd BUY it!sigpicComment

You can find them online in two packs for heavy and light barrel for like 4$ and my gas tube has wear marks for two but one is really worn into it and the other is surface wear and the hand guard metal shows wear of one so came to the conclusion it takes one if at all. No drawings I have seen have them I was finally able to see one on a picture from DSA complete rifle that had one. Are the truly needed ?sent from the depths of my subconsciousComment

From my research on falfiles they only came with one but due to the wooden portion of the left and right handguards being interchangeable (like A2 hand guards) they have notches for two and people over here think they need two. Metal portion the wood is riveted to is different of course. From what falfiles said unless you're clamping down on the hand guard like a lobster you'll not need them. I modified some heavy barrel hand guards to fit on mine so the dot was tight to begin with. I never encountered hand guard wobble with mine.Comment

That said it is just a washer/spacer. Easy to get a generic with same/similar ID/OD if needed.
That said it really doesn’t do muxh other than aesthetic filler.
Just looked.
Easy button.

My izzy clone, looks like a chopped HB but its just a metric with izzy furniture, has one. It is an anodized aluminum spacer that fits into a cutout on the handguards. Not sure it does anything other than fill that space, the metal is stout and i dont think it is necessary.Originally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Originally posted by repubconservPrint it out and frame it for all I careOriginally posted by el chivoI don't need to think at all..Originally posted by pjsigYou are talking to someone who already won this lame conversation, not a brick a wall.
