i found a dealer that has lower receivers for 149.00 and he said he will ship to california. my question is has anyone ever heard of Red River Tactical? the guy says they are made by mega. im interested in a pistol marked one.

Personaly, I too think the logo is a bit busy, but it will be as good as just about any other lower out there.

But unless you have a cheap way to get them in the state,( here in Fresno it's about $65 minimum for a FFl to receive it for you) your better off buying local, have you checked at PRK Arms in Fresno? at the gun show they said they had Tactical Machine lowers for ?? I think $159 and Staggs for $179 , not sure if they were taking orders or if they had them in stock?

and I've never dealt with them, so I don't know if they add any ""dealer fees"" as we've seen others do? but it's nice to support the local guys.

my local dealer owes me a few free transfers,i assembled a few ar's for him so i got a few freebies coming. i want to build a ar pistol and these are the cheapest pistol marked ones i have found unless somebody knows where i can find another for that price.

Where are the pistol marked lowers? Can you post a link? I don't see any on the Red River site. Are you going to have a third party build it as a single shot outside of CA? If not, how are you going to DROS it as a pistol frame only? The NERF thing still hasn't really come to pass yet.

it will be assembled by me at my ffl place once he gets it. the lowers are marked pistol and the guy selling them is out of texas. the guy said no problem sending it to him, glad to do it.
