MagPul Enhanced TG and your OLL- fit problem ?

Anyone experience a fitting problem [ holes not lining up perfectly] with your OLL and your MagPul Enhanced Trigger Guard ?

What did you do ?

I had a problem on one lower. Actually it was a problem with the tg. The front pin area of the tg had a little too much material left where it steps out so it was hitting the lobes on the lower. I just filed off a bit from each side and touched up the tg. If I had some pics I would post where I did the filing.
Very small amout of filing.

I don't have time to take the pics right now. Test fit the tg by looking at the hole allignment. I am taking a guess here but you are not lining up cause you cannot move the tg forward enough to get the holes fore and aft to make. Look at the tg and you will see where it's hitting on the front. 3 out of the 4 tg's that I have on my rifles fit just fine. Just had to file the one a tad.

happened with my spikes. first makes sure to have a quality american made allens wrench so you dont strip the screw. Start by putting the screw side in first. Its tough and will need some effort. i loosened it up a bit by screwing all the way and taking it out a few times before trying to install. now for the other side, use the orginal roll pin from your lpk. The one that came with the magpul t/g was way out of spec. with the orginal you should be able to tap it in and be done

Had that problem with my anvil arms lower, with lots o' pushing-in of the magpul TG and trying to push in the screw to thread in, i got it , took me about 10 minuted though

Fit perfectly on my Kaiser Defense lower, no finesse required.

I have installed a few of these and the only one that didnt fit was a POF gen-I billet lower and the ears on the receiver where super tight and I didnt want to push it as it wasnt mine. I let the owner beat it in there and he got it in.

I went backwards on the directions. I screwed it in first, then used the hammer and punch to get in the other part (can't recall the name). Worked fine.

A buddy just built a CMMG lower for me and when we installed the MagPul enhanced trigger guard, roll pin first, the holes on the lower and tg were off just enough that we couldn't get the set screw started.

I pushed out the pin, got out my tiny round file and filed about .007 of material out of the roll pin hole, which, due to the hardness of the lower, took a while.

I then installed the tg, set screw first this time and hammered that roll pin home.

Essentially did the same thing.
It took a while too, some perspiration and a few swears later..... got it in there.
