Vendors that sell A1 and A2 Retro Uppers

I have been out of the AR game for a while. Last A2 upper I bought was an XM177 from Galati International.

Who else sells retro style uppers these days??

Del-ton has a rifle length upper. I almost order it once, now I think I should have!

They have it with 1:9 twist which I like, and chrome lined is an option too.

M4 was never made on a retro type upper. Unlikely anyone is going to make a mixmaster like that.

Brownells has A1 and earlier uppers; Retro Rifles covers a similar degree of rifles plus the Canadian C7 uppers, and James River Armory does A1 and A2 parts.

Here is a 20" Delton with detachable carry handle (all I could find/afford at the time).
Swapped for the triangle handguard from Numrich.
It also now sports a USGI web sling, 20 round aluminum mag, and bayonet.

Brownells sells complete retro rifles. Looks like they kept is as authentic as possible but with a modern barrel and materials. I've seen others with these rifles and they look good. No idea if there are better options for complete retro rifles that are made form new parts (where it matters).

This is kind of a strange pivot, since your thread title mentions only A1 and A2 uppers, which are all 20". Plus, M4 profile 16" uppers are as common as it gets... and I don't think anyone would consider them retro. Pretty contemporary actually.

I think OP is looking for a fixed carry handle 16" upper. If so, OP you would be better off building it yourself
