My last SA

Robinson Armament XCR heavy barrel, MMG, "better" trigger showed up at my FFL. (Funny thing, a guy was picking up a M96 Expedition rifle with no pistol grip just ahead of me)

Traded in my light barrel original trigger for it. And no more 5.56 semiauto riflers for me. All full up.

Dang.....those MMGs sure look awkward to me. I've never tried one mind you....but just looking at it, it seems like feel weird not being able to wrap your thump around something.

Why the MM grip?

I was wondering the same thing. That's def. a flash hider on the barrel, so the mag must (hopefully) be fixed.

Personally, I think MMGs are more comfortable than pistol grips, especially for range shooting. Pistols grips make a lot more sense for function, however, as it's easier to fire from the hip quickly with a pistol grip.

May this is just one of the few folks that (like me) flat-out prefers MMGs?

In my case depends on the rifle, the AR feels (to me) more comfortable with the MMG, as opposed to no grip at all, but I like my AK just fine without the MMG. I dont it has to do with the rifle ergonomics, just how they fit to me.
