Hey fellers... I shoot lever rifles and bolt guns but I do have an M&P Sport II. I would like to acquire a spare, S&W factory BCG for this carbine. Don't need it, just want it as a spare, or to drop into the gun while I have the factory original bolt on the bench for cleaning maintenance.
Not looking for anything of any higher quality than what is already in the gun. Only things I've done to the gun besides shoot it is a better trigger, 45-degree ambi safety and some different furniture/featureless stock.
Thanks for your experienced advice..

"1. MPI tested Bolt MP4 (Individually tested)
2. HP tested Bolt (Individually tested)
3. Black extractor spring Insert
4. Crane O-ring
5. Shot peened Bolt
6. Chrome Lined Carrier
7. Chrome Lined Gas Key
8. Grade 8 Hardened bolts"
I'd just pickup that one from PSA or maybe a Toolcraft from PSA or whoever has them in stock... here's a chrome one at PK.

All BCM BCG's are HP tested; NOT all Toolcraft or AO Precision BCG's are HP tested (and some of their bolts come made with 9130 steel, as opposed to the stronger Carpenter 158).
BCM requires a better standard for their BCG (and test fires them first), and that's what I go with.sigpicComment
