Or super long/ ridiculous looking. For a saiga 223, brakes only because mines featureless. I realize 223/5.56 doesn't kick much but I feel like the muzzle looks naked without something there

Thanks alot brother, I'll check those outComment

I always preferred the Krebs 4 prong FH on my converted .223 Saiga (Bulgy 24mm FSB). Now I use the Circle 10 AK two port brake. Shoots like a *****cat.Resistance to Tyrants is Obedience to GodComment

Alot of those are for 7.62x39,I read it pretty much does nothing for a 22 caliber bullet because the exit hole is too big to build up pressure in the baffles. Any insight on this?Comment

Damn, out of stock. I like the 2 port ones. So the exit hole size doesn't matter?Comment

I couldn’t speak to the science or physics of it, but it does help keep the muzzle flat when shooting controlled pairs and staying on target. Not much more than a FH, but like you my AK’s are featureless.
Learning to control the rifle as that big ol’ carrier slams rearward helps too.Last edited by toiletfighter; 05-23-2020, 3:58 PM.Resistance to Tyrants is Obedience to GodComment

I'll test out whichever one I settle with at the range next time, on and off. Thanks guysComment

One thing to remember is that 14x1 is the standard thread pattern for the AKM, which is 7.62. If you went with a thread adapter to 24mm or swapped the FSB to a 74 type, you’ll have more options if a .22 caliber muzzle device is what you prefer.Resistance to Tyrants is Obedience to GodComment

I thought about a thread adapter but I want to keep the rifle as short as I can and it adds length. I'll probably just end up settling with one of the 30 cal optionsComment
