Or this Tacfire. Much better machining quality, and still less than $40. You don’t need to spend $150 on a top name rail. I promise they won’t do anything something like this won’t.
Cheaper Than Dirt! is America's Ultimate Shooting Sports Discounter, and we live up to that title. Expect bulk ammo deals, discounts, gun care accessories and more

AFG is permissible on featureless based on my understanding. But I found AFG to be awkward to use. Phase5 m-lok handstop is my preference

He seems to be well aware of that. It's why he is asking how to install an AFG on his featureless rifle here.

I agree on the AFG though. I tried using BCM's little AFG thing. It's kind of a minimal version of one. Hated it right away. Couldn't figure out a way to hold it that felt natural. Sent it back. For me it's either a vertical grip or no fwd grip at all.

no. is the inside the same as round handguards, with full length heat shield? i hate to ask a stupid question.

oh! and yes, they are all triangular end caps.

You just need the correct dimensions of the slot, correct spacing between slots, and a steady hand.
You could also do it with an endmill.
After cutting a few additional M-Lok slots in a handguard for someone, I made up a drawing.
It's pretty easy on the mill with a 1/8" endmill giving the proper corner radius.

Will it be possible to drill m-lok slots on factory A2 handguard using basic drill tools?

Seriously, OP's been given a $30 Magpul option & a $13 generic option, and now he's considering dremeling it because he doesn't want to ruin the looks of his purse gun. Only on calguns does a Dremel improve the looks.

What I meant was I have a drill readily available if I want to do it, and the specs he provided would be very helpful if I were to actually drill it for some reasons. Tbh, I think I would pick up that 40$ quad rail, not too expensive and looks cool to me.

I was never a fan of quadrails, they are even more fugly after owner install rail covers.

Free floating handguards are still best, but Magpul drop-in handguards remain cost effective option. Takes less than 5 minutes to install
