Is there a Good low cost AR weapon light + pressure switch combo

    I know
A jumbo - shrimp kind of thing

Looking for a light system for the AR with pressure switch
Not something I would run all the time so I don,t want to drop a lot of coin

Are the ones on Amazon or flea bay any good ?

Sorry I can't help with pressure switches, but I have had good success with both a bottom rail mounted TLR-1 as well as a small surefire light (6P I think)
in an Elzetta mount. Both can be manipulated easily without changing or breaking the weak hand grip whatsoever.

This is not much help right now but it may become available again as things relax. I bought one of these a year or so ago for mounting on an AR and have been happy with it. It's not a SureFire but them again it is not getting the hard use either.

Fyland Tactical 1200 lumen rechargeable, with charger, spare battery, two endcaps (one with pressure/on off switch) and picatinny mount for $39. Compact size and has a broad beam that lights up rooms well.

Look at the Streamlight Protac Rail mount, they’re very inexpensive and come with a pressure pad.

I ended up buying the slightly more expensive HL-X one but it was still 1/3 the price of the Surefire I bought.

I had a pressure switch setup once (PentagonLight - it was THAT long ago!!! ).

Found out how easily they snag on things - ESPECIALLY underbrush - and promptly dumped it.

Any made in the USA. Even some streamlight's are made in China...

                      Translation?

I get the simplicity of a tailcap button. What is simpler? is my question based on your fine post.

Depends on your budget of course and what you consider to be inexpensive.

(Comparatively speaking) I think the olight pl-pro and pressure pad are a good value

I have an Inforce WML on my Saiga 7.62x39. Works great past couple years. But a lot of interesting options on this thread. Going to look into a few of them.

In the past I always used Surefire but these days I'm not willing to pay the $$. I do have some regular Olight flashlights , not WML's, that have impressed me.
