    PWS bolt includes the spring.
spfabrication's video link, at around 1:23-1:26ish, shows the PWS Bolt Carrier Group sproinging back out a tad after insertion.

It's likely not an "issue" on the PWS upper because either you are not breaking apart the upper and lower receivers "too much" when using your maglock system, or PWS uses a weaker spring than Adam Arms that doesn't sproing back as much when the receiver is split, likely due to the weight of the bolt carrier being enough to hold it down.

This. No need to split it so much that the bolt carrier entirely clears the lower receiver. That, or, again, sticking with featureless, or going with a Kingpin which is what mobile1 decided on anyways.

I have run Adams kits without the bolt tail springs. No issues.

These kits were designed as a conversion from a SDI system (Stoner DI) to accommodate an over gassed system or worn cam pin/track or whatever working condition the rifle is in, so the little extra push the spring gives at full compression is negligible at most.

I know what the spring is supposed to do. I'm not seeing any problems running without one.

After using them a long time and k's of rounds I have not observed any real world wear or damage to the cam pin/track or the bolt lugs. (Lots of Nevada free state FA shooting with my buddies that live there.) My uppers, ammo, their lowers. We have a great time.
      NFA 16 owners dammit!

Nowhere near as stiff as the adams then.
