    M&P10 on a Reload Diet?

Anyone have any issues they can report with feeding their M&P10 a diet of reload? This won't be a hunting rifle.

LAX Ammo is near me and I haven't heard of any complaints with their reload quality.

I don’t mess with reloads and rifles but cheap steel cased is a gtg for ringing steel. Make sure your local range doesn’t have restrictions on certain types of ammo.

Same here. Been using cheap steel cased Wolf .308win for years with no issues.

My MP10 has only been fed reloads, but they are my own reloads.

Even reloads should be fine. But cheap steel is usually about the same price or less so I don’t bother.

Yup. I've used wolf steel cased .308 in an Aero M5 an M1A, a Windham 308, a PTR91, and a SCAR17. No issues in any of them.

The only issue I ever had was case head ruptures and a stuck case in a CMMG MK3 with Tulammo. I dont think its safe to shoot steel cased ammo in a CMMG unless you like powder burns in your face and on your arms. I dont think the CMMG Mk3 likes steel cased ammo for some reason.

Interesting. Has the hatred for steel case ammo come and gone for guns that aren't of a russian pattern?

It was misinformation to begin with. Even IF it did cause premature wear I could buy a whole new gun with the money I save before I wore anything out. Some of us just figured out the math on savings.

The only time I shoot brass cased ammo is in SD guns, hunting or long range precision. All pistol and rifle steel plinking is done with steel.
