    Uzi Model B

While I was out and about today I stumbled onto this Uzi Model B at a price I couldn't say no to. Along with this guy I also found a new PSL magazine in a local shop for $20, so all in all I had a good day.

It looks to still be unfired (I intend to fix that shortly) and came with all the original accessories except for the case. Along with the case candy that shipped with it originally, I got a few magazines and a couple folding stocks. All in I spent $850 for all the stuff pictured.

Not pictured is a 20 round mag that I forgot that I had in my pocket.

I have another dummy barrel that I installed to see how it's going to look after I get the stamp to SBR this guy.

Don't see them with the wood stock very often. Looks like that stock has the "thingy that goes up" - nice.

I have a 32 round uzi mag thats the most resistant to loading the last ten rounds of any mag I have.

That’s something you buy just out of principle when you see it.

That's kind of why I got it. I am not all that big a fan of PCC's, and I sold a different Uzi I used to have a while back due to lack of interest. I already have a couple of shoulder stocked pistols (1916 Mauser C96 and a '16 DWM Artillery Luger) and I figured that would fill any desire I might have for a compact rifle like thing in a minor caliber. I already have a Yugo M92 and an AR that are registered as SBR's, so I don't really need another. But, as I was picking up this Uzi, I decided to go ahead and SBR it and use it as a suppressor host.

Nice find! I prefer the looks and feel of the wood stock also. Be sure yours is not QD until you get it SBR'd.

Go direct thread for the can. I blew out an endcap using the barrel lock adapter against ruggeds advice.

I sold mine a few years ago because it was boring. But there was no PCC then.

Better start looking for a barrel. The SMG barrel won't fit, although I guess you could get the one you have sawed off.

I started putting my UZI-IMI made products into our collection in the early 1980's. Three "B" carbines; 9mm, .41AE, .45ACP. Lots of mags, and an extra carbine-length barrel for each. Plan is to SBR each of the spare barrels some day, thus with the ability to change them out later. There used to be a place called SPWI in Glendale, California; bought the .41AE there NIB with lots of mags, and the other two were NIB from a private sale in the Recycler rag. I found wood stocks surplus, and like yours came with slings, but they are light in color. Also the manuals are a dark green booklet. All are in the correct plastic cases.
You made an excellent find, at a stellar price. Enjoy.

He will only need another carbine barrel. They are out there. He can then make it whatever length he wants, and thread it properly.

SPWI ended up with a chunk of my old pay checks too.
