    Question about Magpul CTR stock

I was interested in getting this stock for my first AR I'm building. Have a question though, if I get it does it come with everything I need to mount it to my lower receiver?

You will need a buffer tube, buffer spring and castle nut.

I don't think Magpul sells their CTR with the buffer tube, spring, buffer, castle nut, or endplate. You have to buy those separatly. Though I think RifleGear sells the stock with the mounting hardware.

Are you looking at mil-spec or commercial?

Nope. Just an ASAP plate or something comparable. Daniel Defense, Midwest Industries and many other make some good single point sling mounts.

CMMG also sells the extra stuff you need for the Magpul stock.

I'm very new to this all too, but really, just search, look around, read and research, that's going to give you the best answers the fastest and you will really understand more stuff that way. You'll see places with just the stock or an entire kit with the tube/spring etc. If you read on Magpul's website, you'll see the difference between the two stocks.

Again, not trying to rain on the parade, but the best thing I've learned here in just under a month is to just read read read. Check the "New Here" forum for tons of good info and resources/links to everything you'll need. Good luck with the build!

Buy the Ctr stock it is one the best ar stocks, because of friction locking system zero wobble. The moe is just like a factory m4 stock it wobbles when extended.
