SIONICS Weapons Systems Barrels

Bought one of their Patrol III uppers with the medium contour barrel a couple months ago. Build won’t be completed for another 3 or 4 weeks though as I have to get a lower and a few tools that I borrowed out and never got back.


They aren’t a big name company but they are highly respected from those in the industry. Over at arfcom they have a stellar reputation as well. Even Mike from SOLGW, who has a reputation of ****ting all over other companies for not producing combat quality rifles and products, says they’re one of the few good to go brands along with BCM and some others.

I also purchased their enhanced lower parts kit and their buffer assembly as they seem like fantastic quality. Can’t wait to finish the rifle and put it through it’s paces.

^ Yeah, as I continued to research them I found nuggets of them being mentioned in other builds. Mostly how good their barrels, QC and support is. Same tier as BCM is what I have been gathering also.

Might as well update this - I decided to go Faxon for this build after finding a smashing $138 shipped deal during Presidents day for the 16" pencil barrel.

Good news is, I have 3 more lowers to build and SIONICS has their name on one of them... and at this point the next one is looking like a "hard use/SHTF" build, and I'll start w/ the SIONICS internals.
