cause once it had glock inserts, it was game over.

i would venture to say that most PCC use only a select few types of magazines.

and glock magazine is the lion's share of the pcc market. i mean there are some colt/ar-stoner styles too for the AR PCC, but glock is king.

no one wants to take the time to do R&D and the setup costs to make inserts for M&P, 1911, berreta, etc since the market share would be tiny.

Exactly. To think otherwise is CA-centric thinking. Who else makes 27 round or 33 round magazines besides Glock and Magpul for Glocks? Not Smith or Beretta, that's for sure.

        Consult Dr. Dremel.

ETS makes 31 rd and 40 rd mags for Glocks. They also make 30 rd mags for S&W M&Ps.

I was thinking 3D printer to make the new adapter then use Dremel and hand tools to fit it just right.

its not that you need more inserts you need a new side catch

ruger did a clever thing having 2 catches one on the front one on the side
the inserts one is small for the metal pistol mags the other is wider for the thicker glock mags they should come out with side catches that work for beretta, m&p heck, xd too

For those interested, I contacted Ruger customer service to ask about their potential plans to release magwells for additional types of pistol magazines. Here is the response that I got, dated 2/18/2020:

“Although we continue to have our engineering team look at various magazine well options, we have to weigh design, function and market for each of these. Currently, we are investigating additional offerings, but none are planned for launch any time soon.

                  Ruger Customer Service”
