USO is way, way into the realm of diminishing returns on optical quality. Spend 33-50% of the money, get 95-99% the scope with a Leupold or any of a number of other brands.

        I currently have 3 (MST-100, SN-3 5.5-22x58, SN-3 SSDS), their spotting scope and 2 on the way (SN-3S 1.8-10x37 TPAL, ST-10). I think I have a USO fetish....

I think that makes sense for hobby shooters, but if you risk your life with your optic then there are some optics you will want to avoid because they aren't rugged enough or they lack the clarity that will make a difference on the battlefield. I used Leupold optics in the Army for a lot of years and they are a mixed bag. USO is expensive, but you can get a very specific custom scope that's ultra-durable and with excellent optical quality. For example, for semi-auto precision rifles, especially in a role where multiple engagements at differing ranges are expected, I prefer the Horus reticles. Yet it's hard to get Horus reticles in very durable scopes - but they're an option on most USO scopes.

It's along the same lines as S&B scopes. Sure, I think the average hobby shooter is wasting their money on a PM II scope where they're probably just as good off to get a Nightforce NXS. Or a guy who's only going to plink with his .223 Savage is probably fine with a Burris. But it all changes when you're doing life/death work in austere environments. Failing equipment downrange blows.

Dude you should probably warn people initially (not that I think you need to because she is hot) that you are posting a pic of your wife.

Otherwise be ready for comments you may dislike--this is the interwebz (serious business).

                      Anyway, thanks for sharing

Your wife and you have a 21 year old? Wow, you guys must have started when you two were in kindergarten. Is that possible?

I plan to get one of the scopes soon. Just gotta save for a few months.

So they are $2500, I got three SN-3s and another one on order. Great scopes. I think Becky at USO is way better than the gal pictured...then there is Megan, whom I've never met but seen pics of. That's coming from a guy with wife and two kids, so you know it's for real!
