    Let's talk about them AR's

All I'm going to say is that a week or two ago one of an OP hear have asked everyone about the weight of the beloved AR's. However I'm just as one of those person that kinda bring back the history but not really. #1 I am kinda bring back the topic of the weight on the ar... Yes Do you really weight out the .oz or grams of all the parts on your AR when building a new ar or swapping parts from a prebuild. This came up on me working on a few Ar's yesterday and I decided to weight the parts inside the lower and parts of the upper. Most standard or comment parts are all alike but may have a little different design or so on it. For example some parts has symbols like numbers and letters. "F7, F2, S, and etc". Anyhow because I have time in my hands, plus I have a small fruit weight scale, and I start weighing everything that I have from spare parts to parts that needs swapping out. Well first example I have like a total of 3-4 standard milspec safety selector that just a bit different and I weight them all. Turns out that most comes out to be 0lb.04oz and 1-2 comes out a hair lighter like 0lb.03oz. I re-weight 2-3 times each and by grams. it's still only a point number off. Even at this .0?oz this can really help cut weight off your AR's, if you're really ANAL about it. Yes at hair weight of oz it really adds up from being heavier or lighter. I weight some other stuff and it turns out the same as stated, again #2 the bolt for the hand grip, bolt catch, trigger, hammer, and etc are all different point of Oz/gram different. I currently have like few parts of one another that I kept if needed as spare. Note this may sound long and nonsense due to thinking and writing at the same time so it may not sound good if reading.

#3 since I'm a guy who like having some small type of odd looking part in my Ar's. I want my ar to stand out to whom looking at it or to whom that is into matching or retro style. that can look and say dam that sh** is tight, bad***, I want it too, buy me the same part too.? basically I just want to have a one of a kind Ar that no one else really has on their build or bought parts that will think it's not going to match their style or their guns. Yes I'm that person that thinks and imagine parts together and see how it's going to turn out. I know that for a fact I'm not the only one but their are a dozen of guys and girls that do the same as me. Thanks for reading and for sure that I won't be having a reply but get the click back to pg. Lol true

The weirder you make them look here the more they get ignored. Out of state you get more laughs.

#2 The (hex) bolt for the grip, the bolt catch, the trigger assembly, etc. all weigh something different.

Ok, now that I parsed that...

                  I’ve written worse.

Glad to know I’m not the only one.

                  Light AR’s are cool

                        This.

I stopped reading when you got to the part about weighing safety selectors. Stop worrying about grams and start worrying about putting rounds on target effectively.
